What software do you use to create your websites?
Our agency specializes in WordPress. We use WordPress.org. **Hosting and a domain name must be purchased in order to launch a live site.

Where do I purchase a domain name?
Some options for purchasing a domain name:Desired Haven Media, Google Domains, GoDaddy, or NameCheap to name a few.

Is the Hosting price included with your web design bundles?
No. The bundles do not include domain name pricing or hosting. The client must purchase and set these up prior to work beginning.
You can purchase website hosting with companies such as Bluehost.com, HostGator.com or Hostinger to name a few.

How can I get a business email? Is this included with the bundles?
No. Business emails are not included with our website bundles, however, many hosting companies such as: Bluehost and Hostgator may offer unlimited or a specific number of professional business emails when you purchase hosting with them.
- You would then setup your business emails through your hosting account, which we can assist you with.
- You can purchase one through our “Shop” page. CLICK HERE.
- You may also be able to purchase this service through another 3rd party such as Google or GoDaddy. **If Purchasing any services through GoDaddy.com, let us know as we can offer our clients a special discount when purchasing through them.**

What is your turnaround time for websites?
The turnaround time depends on the bundle you select. This can change if revisions are requested or there is a hold in the project for any reason. So timelines are always estimates. Turnaround time can range from 3-6 weeks.
Does this agency offer payment plans?
Yes, we do offer payment plans. The options available are dependent on the website bundle you choose.

Is there a deposit required for you to begin work?
Yes, all clients are required to sign a contract and pay a deposit or pay in full prior to any work beginning.
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
Due to the nature and customization of our work, we do not offer refunds. We will do our best to ensure that you’re satisfied with your final website/graphic design project. All deposits are non-refundable.
If you are not satisfied for any reason, or you change your mind about the project and want to cancel, whether design work has begun or not, you may cancel at any time. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED. All payments made up until the time you cancel will be non-refundable.
All designs and legal copyright will remain with Desired Haven Media LLC. We hold the legal rights to all designs and they will not be transferred to the client unless all payments are made in full.
I've never used WordPress. How will I be able to maintain my website once the project is complete?
We provide a video walkthrough of the backend of WordPress to each web design client once the project is complete. This video will be a recording of your specific website and WordPress account. We will demonstrate how to edit and access information once logged in. We use a website builder to make everything much easier.
We also provide post-launch support after your website goes live. You can message us via our support email with any questions or concerns. We are here to help. The duration of the support depends on the website bundle chosen.
Another resource is our NEW service called:
“Exclusive Client 1-On-1 Session”, for those with existing websites who need additional edits or changes made. This is an educational session where you can ask any questions about WordPress and get a committed web designer for the duration of your session.
We may also periodically post WordPress tutorial videos & walkthroughs on our Youtube Channel.
